Richard opened her collegiate career in strong fashion Saturday as she won both the shot put and weight throw in Nazareth's home dual meet against Roberts Wesleyan. Her toss of 13.96 meters (45 feet, 9 3/4 inches) in the weight throw was just over a foot shy of the Golden Flyers' indoor record. She took the shot put in 10.71 meters (35 feet, 1 3/4 inches) as Nazareth outscored Roberts 72-48.
