McDonald closed out his hockey career in record-breaking fashion Sunday as he scored his team-leading 16th goal in a 3-2 loss at Utica. His goal boosted his career total to 35, breaking the Golden Flyers' all-time record. He also had a goal earlier in a week as Nazareth defeated Elmira 5-2 in the first round of the UCHC playoffs.
