Kuhn emerged with 39 saves last Friday as the Golden Flyers returned to action after a 27-day layoff with a 1-0 win over Amherst. Kuhn had 29 of his saves in the second and third periods as the visiting Mammoths ramped up the pressure. The end result was the third career shutout for Kuhn, who lowered his goals-against average to 2.38 and raised his save percentage to .930 for the season. The Golden Flyers also defeated the Mammoths, 3-2, on Saturday to improve to 7-4-2 overall.
