She didn't have a goal or an assist, but Kempney helped the Golden Flyers to a pair of women's lacrosse victories last week with her play on defense. She had three ground balls last Tuesday in a 9-7 non-conference win over RIT. She then contributed 10 draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers as Nazareth shut out Alfred, 24-0, in Saturday's regular-season finale. She leads the Golden Flyers with 41 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers. Nazareth has won four straight and completed the regular season with a 10-7 overall record.
