Cronin became Nazareth's first-ever Empire 8 champion in women's cross country as she set the pace at the E8 Conference Championship meet at Alfred last Saturday. She covered the 6-kilometer mud-slicked terrain in 25:52.67 to lead the Golden Flyers to a third-place finish in the team standings.
