Nazareth College Athletics

Eaton had a pair of first place finishes in the long and triple jumps at the Empire 8 Championships over the weekend.  On Friday, she earned ten points for the Golden Flyers in the long jump, coming within a half an inch of Nazareth’s school record with a leap of 5.72 meters (18 feet, 9 1/4 inches) – a personal best for the event.  She broke a two-year-old school record in winning the triple jump on Saturday with a leap of 11.40 meters (37 feet, 5 inches).  The Remsen,NY native also turned in second-place finish in the 400-meter dash as she crossed the finish line with a personal-best time of :57.47.
