Farrand took direct aim on the Nazareth swimming and diving record book over the weekend as he led the Golden Flyers to a fourth-place finish at Ithaca's Bomber Invitational. He was part of five record-breaking swims, including a fourth place in the 50 freestyle (:20.96) and third place in the 100 free (:46.11). He also swam the anchor freestyle leg on three record relays -- a split of :20.52 in the 200 free relay that finished second (1:26.00); a split of :20.60 in the 200 medley relay that finished third (1:35.63); and a split of :45.81 in the 400 free relay that finished third (3:10.70).
