Nazareth College Athletics

Friends helped the Golden Flyers remain unbeaten in women's tennis by winning twice each at singles and doubles as Nazareth clinched the top seed for this weekend's Empire 8 Conference Tournament. Nazareth defeated St. John Fisher, 8-1, as Friends won a third-set tiebreaker to take a point at first singles. She also won 6-1, 6-0 in her first singles match in a 7-2 win over Alfred. She teamed with Marisa Joyce to win both of her doubles matches. Nazareth improved to 8-0 overall, 7-0 in conference play.
