LaPoint excelled over the weekend at Ithaca's Bomber Invitational as the Golden Flyers closed out their first-semester schedule. LaPoint recorded first-place finishes in the 200- and 400-yard IM and was part of school records in three other events. He finished fourth in the 200 breaststroke and broke his own record with a time of 2:10.52. He also swam on the 400- and 800 free relays that broke records with respective times of 3:11.82 and 7:04.96.
