Benedict had a pair of big games for the Golden Flyers as Nazareth claimed the championship of the Buffalo State Tournament. She was named tournament MVP after averaging 21 points and 13.5 rebounds in wins over Thiel and Buffalo State. She scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a 67-53 win over Thiel on Friday and then combined 17 points with 14 rebounds in Saturday's come-from-behind win over Buffalo State. She also shot .515 from the field (17-for-33) and hit three three-point baskets.
