Stenglein helped the Golden Flyers open their men's basketball season in successful fashion as he averaged 23.7 points and 6.3 rebounds in three non-conference victories. He combined 22 points with six rebounds and five assists in Tuesday's 63-57 win at Oswego and then was named MVP of Nazareth's weekend tip-off tournament with games of 22 and 27 points in wins over Mount St. Mary and Morrisville.
