Newcomb, a freshman, hlped the Golden Flyers to a 4-0 week as she totaled 34 kills on 70 attempts for a .357 hitting percentage. She also had seven digs and seven blocks. She was named MVP of the Skidmore Tournament as the Golden Flyers won three matches to claim the team title. She hit .533 (9-1-15) in a four-set triumph over Sage and .474 (10-1-19) in a three-set sweept of Skidmore.
