Rivera obliterated the field in the weight throw at the RIT Early Season Invite in an ECAC qualifying throw of 18.27 meters (59 feet, 11 1/4 inches).  Teammate Brandon Vuolo was the second place finisher in 15.20 meters.  The Golden Flyers finished the meet in third place.  Rivera’s throw is currently the second-best mark in the country.
