Messmer helped the Golden Flyers split four volleyball matches last week as she amassed 60 kills, 12 services aces and 35 digs. In a four-set win over Southern Maine on Saturday, Messmer totaled a career-high 20 kills on 46 swings for a .283 hitting percentage. She also had 14 kills in a three-set sweep of Rochester last Tuesday and 16 kills in a four-set loss to Oneonta last Friday. She leads the Golden Flyers (15-14 overall) with 313 kills on the season.
