Battaglia ran a personal-best time of 1:56.51 to win the 800-meter run at the Empire 8 Conference Track and Field Championships at St. John Fisher Sunday. He also ran on Nazareth's winning 4 x 400-meter relay that posted a first-place time of 3:23.55.
