Rivera broke his own school reccord in the 35-pound weight throw for the fifth time this winter at Saturday's ECAC Championship meet at the New York City Armory. Rivera's toss of 19.18 meters (62 feet, 11 1/4 inches) was nearly 10 feet better than the record he set last season. He has been selected to compete at this weekend's NCAA Indoor meet in Winston-Salem, N.C.
