Pierson earned All-American honors for the Golden Flyers with a fifth-place finish in the long jump competition at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan. Pierson jumped 5.55 meters (18 feet, 2 1/2 inches) on her first attempt to become Nazareth's first female indoor track and field All-American.
