Pierson shattered her own school record yet again as she won the long jump competition at the RIT Invitational last Friday. Pierson leaped 5.73 meters (18 feet, 9 3/4 inches) to take first place and equaled her best outdoor distance from last season. She competes again this weekend at the NYSCTC meet at St. Lawrence.
