Hess finished first for Nazareth Saturday in the 1,000-yard freestyle as the Golden Flyers returned to the swimming pool in a dual meet at Fredonia. She posted a winning time of 11:02.14 and also placed third in the 500 free (5:31.63) and fourth in the 200 free (2:06.60).
