Simoneau continued his mastery at the faceoff position as the Golden Flyers won two more key Empire 8 Conference games last week. In wins over Alfred and Stevens, Simoneau won 40 of 53 draws (75 percent) and scooped up 29 ground balls. Simoneau already has shattered single-season school records for ground balls (157) and faceoffs won (214). He ranks among the Division III leaders at 12 ground balls per game and with a 65 percent faceoff success rate.
