Stephens was named MVP of the Golden Flyers' tip-off tournament over the weekend as he amassed 47 points in wins over New Paltz and New Jersey City University. Stephens shot 48 percent (12-for-25) from the field and 80.8 percent (21-for-26) from the free-throw line and passed for 14 assists to get the Golden Flyers off to a 2-0 start.
