Funiciello won in singles for three out of four matches over the past week and split in doubles at 2-2. Against Stevenson University, Funiciello won singles (6-2, 7-5) and won in doubles (6-1). Against Ripon, he won singles (6-0, 6-1) and doubles 7-5. Against Wooster, he won in singles (6-3, 2-6, 1-0 (10-6)), and lost in doubles (7-6 (9-7)).
