History major. . . born 10/17/88. . .daughter of Don and Eileen Rappold, Niskayuna, N.Y. . . back for her second season with the Golden Flyers, Rappold finished with 335.5 points during the 2008-09 season. . . earned first-team Empire 8 all-star honors in the 400 IM and 1650 freestyle. . . set the school record in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time 10:33.97. . . also set the school record with a time of 5:06.45 in the 500-yard freestyle. . . other top times Rappold swam were 10:51.25 in the 1000-yard freestyle and 17:31.08 in the 1650-yard freestyle. . . Rappold’s 17:31.08 time was a school and meet record at the Upper New York State Collegiate Swimming Association championship. . . 2007-08: Rappold transferred from LeMoyne College. . . competed against the Golden Flyers in a November dual meet and won the 1,000-yard freestyle. . . top times include 5:22.57 in the 500 -yard freestyle, 18:23.63 in the 1,650-yard freestyle and 4:51.91 in the 400-yard IM. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Niskayuna High School, Rappold was a five-year member of the swimming team at Niskayuna. . . helped high school team to Section Two Championship and graduated with academic honors.
