McAdam named Empire 8 Player of the Week
ROCHESTER, N.Y. --
Corey McAdam, senior guard for the Golden Flyers' men's basketball team, has been named as the Empire 8 Player of the Week for the seven-day period ending Jan. 25.
This is the second consecutive week that McAdam has been named Player of the Week by the Empire 8 Conference.
McAdam reached a career record on Friday, scoring 39 points to help Nazareth win 77-67 over Elmira. In the first half, he scored 27 points, helping the Golden Flyers to procure a ten-point lead. At the game's end, McAdam had made 18 of 22 free throws and 10 of 17 shots from the field. He also tallied five assists and six rebounds.
The Golden Flyers' next game will be at St. John Fisher on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
