North/South rosters
ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Alex Cole, senior midfielder on the Nazareth men's lacrosse team, will represent the Golden Flyers Friday at the 68th annual North/South Senior all-star game.
Cole, of Cincinnati, Ohio and a graduate of Indian Hill High School, played in all 18 games for the Golden Flyers in 2009 and finished with four goals and 10 assists with a team-high 72 ground balls. He also served as team captain and was selected as a second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star.
The North/South all-star game will be contested Friday at 2 p.m. at Harvard Stadium as part of a tripleheader. The Division III game will be followed by the Division I/II all-star game at 4 p.m. and the Major League Lacrosse game between the Denver Outlaws and the Boston Cannons at 7:30 p.m.
The lacrosse weekend continues Saturday with the Division I semifinal games at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., the Division III final on Sunday and the Division I championship game Monday.
