BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Senior
Lauren McKinney and freshman
Carissa Risucci each won two individual events and competed in the winning 400 medley relay Friday as Nazareth won its second women's swimming and diving meet of the season with a 156-75 victory over host Brockport. In the men's meet, Brockport won 131-98.
McKinney finished first in the 200-yard IM (2:18.41) and the 200-yard butterfly (2:16.68) while Risucci won the 100- and 200-yard breaststrokes in 1:09.71 and 2:26.34 respectively. McKinney and Risucci were joined in the 400 medley relay by sophomores
Jaclyn Conklin and
Rachael Phipps to post a winning time of 4:14.17.
Freshman
McKenna Murphy also won two events in the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.22) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:33.56). Other winners included Conklin in the 100 freestyle (:56.48); senior
Courtney Pilc in the 1,000 freestyle (11:28.48); sophomore
Holly Gilligan in the 50 freestyle (:26.16); and freshman
Kelley Anzalone in the 100 butterfly (1:06.84).
In the men's meet, freshman
Jacob Kline and senior #R.C. Weston# paced the Golden Flyers by winning twice each. Weston won the 200 IM (2:10.99) and the 200 backstroke (2:11.07) and Kline won the 50 freestyle (:22.62) and the 100 freestyle (:49.64).
Other winners were freshman
Josh Haak in the 1,000 freestyle (11:11.85) and freshman
Mike Bidwell in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.55).
Nazareth was schedule to host Hartwick Saturday, but the meet has been postponed and no make-up date has been announced. Nazareth's next meet is Nov. 14 at LeMoyne.
