BUFFALO, N.Y. – Nazareth surged to an insurmountable 31-point halftime lead Friday and cruised to its first men’s basketball victory of the season, 95-67, over Marietta College in the first round of the Coles Classic hosted by Buffalo State. The victory was also the first under the direction of first-year head coach Kevin Broderick.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A poor shooting night spelled doom for Nazareth Tuesday in its men's basketball season opener against Roberts Wesleyan at the Blue Cross Arena. The Golden Flyers could not overcome a 17-points halftime deficit and lost to the Raiders, 71-55.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth's equestrian team enjoyed a successful weekend as they completed two more horse shows at Lehman Farms. Nazareth hosted Saturday's show and the Golden Flyers finished in a tie with RIT for eighth place with 19 points. Nazareth was back at Lehman Farms Sunday for another show hosted by Geneseo and Nazareth finished seventh with 24 points.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Visiting Nazareth won 10 of 16 events Saturday in a women's swimming and diving meet at LeMoyne and the Golden Flyers improved to 3-0 with a 174-126 victory over the Dolphins. LeMoyne defeated Nazareth in the men's meet, 154-103.
